go to www.boxtops4education.com. That will be a great start. next make sure you register as the coordinator if that is your postion. This way you can get the coordinators kit. Or you can download pretty much of it from the website. Last year I was the coordinator and I had individual contests to get the kids interested. I got baskin robbins gift cert. for $3.00 and the boy and girl who brought in the most box tops for the month was given a gift cert. This year box tops has a store that you can buy pencils and bookmarks and so forth from. Start small and then see how much of a response you get. Also make sure to let everyone know how well your school has done so far. That will help. Maybe you can get space on your schools newsletter. If you do the monthly contest, make sure the kids put their name on the backs of the box tops and put those ones in something to draw out the names of the boy and girl. If you don't have a baskin robbins try a coupon off a book at the next book fair the school holds. Anyway check out the website and you will be started on your way. Good luck and happy hunting for box tops. You can email me directly for more info. if you would like.
Do you have the Boxtop Promotion kit? We have little boxes in each room for the teachers to collect the boxtops. When a child brings them in, they are allowed to go to the treasure box for a treat.
We are brand new in doing box tops and the school and parents have decided not to do any competion in this. Does anyone have any ideas on what we can do for the kids to show our apperication on collecting them. Our goal is 15,000 box tops for the end of the year. We have collected over 1700 so far in our first 4 weeks. Just asking for any ideas. Thanks in advance!
