Harvest festival

Usually our school holds a Haunted House but this year, no one wanted to chair it so it became a Harvest Festival run by the six officers. We are having a hayride, bon fire, bouncity bounce, chicken BBQ, our 5th graders are selling glow necklaces, popcorn, candy apples and hot cider. I asked the Honor Society from the High School to help so we don't need to ask for ANY parent volunteers. The President of the Honor Society (a senior at the HS)is bringing enough kids to help serve the BBQ, scare at the haunted part of the hayride (we will alternate rides... one being scary, the next not)and help out with anything else we might need. I am very excited and have been trying to advertise like crazy. We have past Bell Top families coming back for this event. We do have some folks boycotting the whole thing because they are mad we got rid of the Haunted House BUT... they didn't want to chair it. Oh well.

I hope that helps!

GOOD LUCK!

Hi! This is my 1st time posting a note. I'm wondering what everyone is doing for Halloween. Our school does not celebrate Halloween, so we have a Harvest fest. Have any neat ideas or comments?
