OH that kind of freebies! Have you tried your dentist for toothpast and toothbrushes? Or talk to your local store in to donating items and they would get free advertisement.
The samples I'm talking about are things like dishsoap, toothpaste, snacks, etc. We received a box of trial size samples of a soap that you use in your garbage disposal. We passed it out at a PTO meeting and it was a big hit. We've also received goodie bags that had several different products. I'm just not sure where they came from or how to contact them. If I find out, I'll post it here so everyone has the information.
I have also recieved samples of fundraisers such as pizza cards, discount cards, scratch off cards, pens, calendars, that sort of stuff. I can't recall all of the places I got them. Your best bet is to go to the fundraising link in the box on your left and start surfing. It is tedious, and you will be bombarded with mail, but some of them will have samples in them. Good Luck!
I believe the others are talking about free samples from companies that want to sell you items for fundraising, school spirit, or teacher apprecation. Some of them routinely send out samples of folders, pens, calendars, book marks - whatever - that you could have personalized for your school, or they send out samples of the gift/food items that could be sold as fundraisers. Typically, the low cost items - like a pencil - are used in mass mailings. Others tend to come as the result of an inquiry or because you are on a sales list.
My school recieves free calendars, pens, stuff like that. For the free calendar, try www.amsterdamprinting.com. They also send out free pens. That's all that I have been able to find so far, let me know what you come up with.
