Oh, no! That was very helpful..I will make some calls to Pizza Huts and the Six Flags near here to see what I can come up with...thank you so much!!!
I don't know what a "super reader" program is speifically - but incentives for reading a certain amount of time are available from a variety of sources. In fact, just last night we attended a minor league baseball game - the kids who read 800 minutes in 6 months get a free ticket to the game, a T-shirt, parade on the field and run the bases afterwards. Great America (a Six Flags park) also awards a free admission ticket for 600 minutes during a 6 month period - our school runs them concurrently so those who read 600 minutes get one level, those who read 800 minutes get both incentives. Pizza Hut has a program, as well, with monthly incentives. If this is not what you are talking about let me know and I'll delete the post.
I am not sure if this is the proper place to ask this...we are trying to rework our Super Reader type program...
What has worked for you folks?
What would you change?
Our school year starts in early July, so we are trying to get a jumpstart on it.
Regards!
