Thank you!! That is what I was thinking too it's just nice to hear it!
I know I have alot going on with the kids etc, I just wish people would stop TELLING ME my plate is full! I know what I can handle and do tell people "No!"!
An almost overwheming thought, I will be with this school (God willing) another 18 years! Holy volunteering Batman!!
I think your involvement so far has been wonderful, not to mention incredible! But now it's time to think about yourself and your family. This is far to special a time for you to stress yourself out worrying about PTO.
Once the baby is here and on a schedule, you can decide what help you want to give as a volunteer or even a committee chair.
I think you deserve to concentrate on yourself and your family after March. The PTO will survive. Good luck!
My advice to you is "Think of you and your baby first" It looks like you'll have many years ahead of you to be involved in the PTO but a baby's only a baby for such a short time.
I wish i could be asking the Kindergarden Mom's this but we have been blessed with the news of a new arrival in the family in March! Right now I am the President and involved in many volunteer committees at school which are (the school) complete understanding I will be limited after March to the things I can do. I'm really concered about my post with the PTO. Believe it or not the Principal is asking me if I would would change my mind about running for President again! This year has been so rough (I still don't have a Treasurer!) and I really have no one that I can truly count on that is a volunteer.
Did I mention I have four children right now with only one in school? This fall I will be sending two off in the morning with three at home.
Just need some input. Thanks
