We had an area out in front of our school, beside our flower garden, it has a marble bench that we dedicated to a wonderful teacher that passed away from a brain tumor. We had a ceremony honoring her life and the chior sang as did the people who attended and various people talked about how she touched thier lives and a plague is also thier in her memory also. Hope this helps
Oh nooo...no one has ever had a playground dedication (or any other dedication for that matter) to remember someone by? If you have, could you please e-mail me and tell me what you did?
Our dedication is set for November 4th and a wonderful teacher has offered to help out but any other help is greatly appreciated.
Has anyone ever had a dedication to remember someone by? Our Vice President just passed away after being sick for 1 1/2 yrs and 4 yrs ago she got the ball rolling for a new playground that was finished last year after she got sick. We never had a ribbon cutting ceremony or a dedication for it and we would really like to dedicate it in her memory.
I'm looking for any info., poems, etc. that you've used and what you've done.
Thanks.
