I would call a local chapter of your American Legion or VFW. In our area, the Legion gives new flags to people who bring in old tattered flags so they can be destroyed in the proper manner. I don't know if this is a national procedure or if it is just in my area, but those organizations could probably get you a parade flag at a much cheaper cost if not for free.
