Here's another thought that may work for anyone setting up a new website also. Try eteamz.com. I know this is generally a sports only website, but with the ability to add additional folders to the menu, it can be used great. You even have the capability to set up a webpage for each grade level. Visit oursite at www.eteamz.com/esmsposse
and see what you think. You can even sign our guestbook to let us know how you like it!
Just got our site activated! Are there any places to register our site with other PTO/PTA organizations? Would love to hear any feedback on the site. Thanx!! www.tolland.k12.ct.us/tepto/TEPTOPage1.htm
I noticed that the headings of things like
Included in this School PTO Web Page
was underlined. I would suggest that headings and sub headings not be underlined since usually underlined things on websites represent a link to another place.
Also, where your name is at the bottom of the page - maybe you can create an e-mail link so folks can contact you that have questions regarding the website or maybe a correction they may spot and want to help you by letting you know the observation.
Great work on the sites. Hope you don't mind the suggestions.
You might also want see if they want to create a listing link like the one they have for PTAs - or to just keep adding PTO units added under this same category.
We all want the same thing - better future for our kids and all that I've said in the past posts - so INHO (in my humble opinion) just add them under the PTA listing for now until a new listing for PTO's is created and an editor is assigned there.

Harlow- go to www.ptotoday.com/ubb/Forum18/HTML/000046.html.
for the page on this site that has many site links on it. You may also want to look at www.myschoolonline.com
there are many, many websites to browse there. If you go to www.pta.org/links/ptalinks.asp
you can go to any state or grade level for additional site. It is a great way to help you decide what you want your site to be like. It just takes HOURS of browsing. Have fun!
