Our school's spirit day's seem to differ from yours...each month we have a designated spirit day (usually a Friday). We have had Hawaiian Day the kids were encouraged to wear Hawaii type clothes and the pto purchased leis for all students and staff.
In March we had dress as a favorite book character and a read-o-rama where the students rotated to different classrooms throughout the day to do reading projects. We have had dress like twins day...this month we are having movie and popcorn day. We will also have a wear your school pride day (the pto purchased t-shirts for every student and staff). The kids really seem to enjoy these special days.

I am curious as to what other PTA/PTO's do for spirit days. We have done the following: Popcorn, Cookies (very time consuming) and Freeze pops. I know of other schools who sell rope licorice and do well. Does anyone do anything different worth trying?
