Our objectives statement is:
A. To assist and enhance the educational
environment of the children.

B. To promote the welfare of the children
in the home, school and community.

C. To encourage adequate laws for the care,
protection and betterment of children.

D. To strive for cooperation between parents
and educators for the enrichment of child
development.

E. To cooperate with other organizations
and agencies concerned with child
welfare.

We don't have a mission statement, but perhaps our objectives would give you some ideas:

The objectives of the Northwest Elementary PTO are to:

*Establish and maintain a working relationship among parents, school and community.

*Support school improvement teams and promote the finest education possible for the students at northwest.

*Expand technology and supplement equipment and supplies.

*Increase student safety and security.

* Develop programs and projects that will support or enrich the curriculum.

*Enhance the quality of education by raising funds for school supplies or programs that fall outside the school budget.

Our pto needs a mission statement, I really don't know where to start...Can someone send me a copy or copies of there organizations mission statement so we can have a clue as where to start.
