What a neat idea! We have been trying to come up with a clever thing to do for Father's Day this year and have been stumped. I think I may have just found the solution to my problem.
Just a note about a new event we did this year. We have a "Dad's night out" where the Dad's bring their child to watch a movie, have popcorn, candy, and beverage. Each grade gets a designated Friday night so that each of the family's children get their "own" night out with Dad. I take a picture with the polaroid camera and write under it "Night Out With Dad" 2001. This has gone over so well. It has been one of the most rewarding events we did and the kids just go nuts over it. We did Kind through 8th grade. The younger kids have a much better turnout. We did not charge anything and brought all of the supplies because we had such a successful fundraiser at the beginning of the year. This was definitely worth it.
