One thing we do is get parent volunteers to cover the classes for an extended lunch for the teachers. They get to go out together, we cover lunch and playground duty and believe me they appreciate it! We also do little things all week long for them to show them how much they are appreciated in return. For instance, one mom owns a beauty salon. She came in and gave each teacher (even the males) parafin hand dips, goodie baskets and other quick beauty treatments. They loved it! Just have fun with it, the teachers appreciate anything you do!

I would like to know if anyone has NEW ideas for teachers appreciation day. I liked the decorate each teachers door for them but I was wondering if there was anything else new? Any suggestions would be great.
