I am the President of our PTO this year. I've spent the last two years as Secretary. Each year we see people voted in only to have them quit during the middle of the year. This year we lost our new v.p. and new treasurer and on the verge of losing our most recent v.p. Our past pres. reporter and secretary, myself seem to be the only people hanging in there from year to year. At least two of these people will resign this year. What can we do to eliminate losing new officers. All of them have quit because of family situations. Need input!! We thought about possibly paying a small amount to each officer as incentive, but why should we pay someone, this is suppose to be a volunteer position to help the schools. I don't know. Also we are in the mode of revamping our bylaws which don't say a whole lot to begin with. We've gone from a $2000 organization to $35,000 per year. Thanks for your help.
