Our meeting are the first Tuesday of every month makes it eaiser for everyone to remember and as CC said even then you tend to forget. We have a district school calendar that goes out at the begining of the school year and its easier for everyone one school picks the second wednesday of the month, etc
We put out a survey asking what nights/day etc worked best almost all said having an evening meeting worked best. None wanted afternoon and one wanted morning. As for the night most wanted Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
This year we did a couple afternoon meetings but not sure I will do that next year only the teachers showed up and only one parent.
Good Luck with finding what works.

This would have driven my team absolutely crazy. We met the first Thursday of every month of the school year. ~The first Thursday, every month~ Still, I'd say to someone, "See you tonight!" and they'd look confused and say, "We're meeting tonight?" Or someone would just not show up and then say later, "Nobody told me there was a meeting." So I started sending out a message on the Monday before the meeting as a reminder. Different days each month or even alternating between two days would've been a nightmare.
I commend your attempt to make meetings more accommodating to the varying schedules. If you continue with this practice, I would recommend posting the meeting schedule at the beginning of the year so everyone can write it on their calendars. If your school has a monthly newsletter or event calendar maybe you could have the meeting dates posted on there too.

Hi, I was snooping around on the boards today and found a link to your (FoxMom) website. I saw on your PTO meetings calendar that you rotate times, morning, afternoon, evening . . .how is that working for you? We began rotating days, First Wednesday one month, First Thursday the next and back to Wednesday the following to make our meetings more "user friendly" and I'm open to suggestions on other ways of doing this. Thanks for your insight in advance
