We used Tecre Co. in Fond Du Lac, WI not sure of the phone or address but I am positive you can goggle them and get their website. Like I said, you will love the button machine and everyone will have fun, and after a few fundraisers the machine will pay for itself. We also made spirit buttons for the parents: proud bobcat mom/dad with a little imagination you can come up with some great ideas.

We have one, and the kids made their own badges at the end of the school year carnival.. it was a big hit, and well worth the expense! I LOVE the suggestion about sending home an order form with clip art/blanks.. as a fundraiser.. It's a great way even just to recoup the cost of the machine and the button supplies!

Where did you find the pieces for that price? When I get my proposal ready for the board, I'd like to have that info. I was going put some search effort into it but if I can get the info from you, then I'm done. thanks!!

Just wondering if there were any down sides to it.

Our PFC has the Badge-A-Minit II and it is great!!! So easy, if you have older kids that you want to help out they could operate this machine!! It is a little pricey but worth every penny!! We use it at our Book Fairs, Santa Secret Shop, Valentine Grams, Sporting Events there are no limits!!!

For Santa Shop and Valentine's Day we send out order forms with 3 filled in buttons with clip art for the holiday that can color and 3 blank buttons so they can design their own. We sell them at $1.00 ea or 6 for $5.00. The kids absolutely love them. At our Book Fair, we set up a table so the kids can design their own buttons. A big hit.

We also made Field Trip buttons about 100 of them for the kids to wear that say our school name and number. We made different designs for the teachers and parents that accompany the children.

Like I said the possibilites are endless. If you have an opportunity to purchase a Button Machine go for it!!!
Not to mention, they are great fun to make! I really don't see a down side to it. You can also purchase all of your buttons and backs from different companys so you can save money on supplies. I think we paid $60.00 for a 1000 pieces a big savings compared to Badge-A-Minit costs.
Good Luck and Have Fun!!!
