My VP and I went to Philly last year and stayed the night before. It's a lot easier on you if you have to drive more that a couple of hours. I think the vendors set up that morning.
I am going to the San Ramon, CA conference. I made an easy choice... I'm going to stay the night before and the night of. Just seems to me that since I live about 15 hours away, that it was the best (albeit the only) choice.
In my past experiences, I have preferred staying the night before so that I am rested and right there in the morning. I also found that I wanted nothing more than to get back home when I was done doing whatever I had to.
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
Last year we attended the two day conference in Framingham, MA, so it was easy to decide which night to book a room. What night do you think makes more sense for this year since the show is only one day? Will the vendors be set up the day before like last year?
