Our teachers and principal wear jeans almost every Friday. I don't see what the big deal is? If the jeans had rips and holes in them I could understand... Our teachers wear nice shirts and shoes on "jeans day". I will never understand why with all of the things out there people could rightfully complain about they choose to complain about things that don't even matter and avoid the things that do?... What do you do?!
There is currently a debate going on on our local newspaper website "chat". The post is regarding principals and teachers dressing down on Fridays and wearing jeans. Just wondering how many schools do this. This post was started by someone who lives several hundreds of miles and another state away. They apparently had been to our town on a field trip, and noticed somewhere that a local teacher had on jeans during a field trip to a local educational tourist attraction. Now there is a huge debate going on.
My personal opinion is that the children are learning, and the teacher purchases a coupon to wear the jeans for one Friday. (Can purchase as many coupons as they like for Fridays only) The money from the coupons is then donated to the school fund or to a charity. I have no problem with this. Our teachers are awesome and I'd let them wear jeans every day!
