Ware sending home a notice the end of next week that is going to lay down what we have planned and how parents can assist.
On Monday we are having ice cream sundaes for the teachers cause "The Scoop is--they're the best"
On Tuesday--we're asking parents to send in a hand written favorite recipee card
On Wednesday we're doing a lunch that is all deli meats for sandwiches and salads...cause these guys are Deli-icious
On Thursday--we're doing thank you Thursday and encouraging parents/children to write a thank you note to their teachers
And on Friday we're culminating with our Teacher's Top Five--which is a list generated by the grade leaders of those top 5 things they need for their classrooms...tissues, stickies whatever it is and asking parents to consider sending something in.
We are also extending their lunch by a half hour with volunteers in the rooms at some point, I'm just not sure which yet .
I am doing just an informal one off of my computer. And then our kids have "friday" folders that most parents check in, so I will go into the class and put them into the kids folders myself. But I just did something simple off of my computer, and then I am doing the bring in a small item each day kind of thing so I listed the general idea of that with my name and number if anyone wants to help or has questions. Hopefully this helps! Best of luck!
I'd like to send a notice home to Parents letting them know about Teacher Appreciation Week.. does anyone have a flyer that they'd like to share with me?
