PTO Room

We have a room, or part of a large room, that we can work in and use as storage. Last year I spent at least 10 hours a week in it with my son in his stroller or playpen, this year he's not so content. We keep all of our supplies-spirit wear, paper, fundraiser stuff-in there. We have phone access in the next room and use either of the copiers in the school. If the room were totally ours, we would probably have a computer and other stuff in there, but before last year, we just had a cabinet, so you won't hear us complain.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

Does any have a room set up at school for a PTO office example for one main person be in charge of it fundraising - spirit wear or what ever else they are doing. The room would have a computer phone lines filing cabinets copy machine and such. I find myself doing all of my PTO stuff all day long and at night when the kids go to bed. I 'm a stay at home mom and I get parents and the school calling me asking me about what spirit wear clothing or what ever else. I really really enjoy doing this but I always spend alot of time at the school deliveing spirit wear and trying to get parents excited about PTO and make it a great year and want to help out. Do you have any ideas!!
