Arrange for various parents to deliver meals to their home. No one wants to cook at a time like that.

I think it is most important to try and find out what kind of assistance they can really use. Some years ago we had a teacher who had cancer. They were very sick and were financially in distress while they were going through treatments.
So we held a collection to raise money for them.

I just received an email from our principal informing me one of our teachers had a heart attack and has been admitted to the hospital. Apparently the damage is pretty extensive. What I know about the family is he lives at home with his wife, teenage son, and father (or father in law).

I am in need of ideas on what our parent group can do for him and his family. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks!

Susanne
