Start by going through your financial records and getting a statement from your bank. Make sure your group has bylaws in place. Meet with your new family members(board members) to make sure you are all on the same page. Then work on your agenda for next year. If you want parent and teacher input before doing that then you can send out surveys asking what you want to know, if your schedule of events is already in place, then it might be easier to wait for the next school year to get some ideas.

All members starting new this year. We have gotten no help from past 4 board members. Over the past two years I have been to all but a few meetings, never received a treasurer report, no one knows how much money in PTO, or where the money is spent. We would like to do a teacher survey to see where they stand, and also maybe a parent survey? No involvement from parents other than the four of us who took over this year. Any suggestions where to begin?
