Wonder if a Kitty Litter cake is like a Mississippi Dirt Cake?
Well after those blamed Girl Scouts and their tag-a-longs and then the dang Easter Bunny and his chocolate . Salads sound good. Maybe even something tropical or since it's spring a picnic theme. I am sick of winter. I am ready for grass and leaves and flowers.
How about salads? The old standard tossed green salad, taco salad, macaroni salad, potato salad, fruit salad, crunchy cabbage salad, guacamole salad, etc.... You could have lots of different and unusual salad dressings, and different toppings (nuts, sunflower seeds, raisins, sprouts, and so on). Man, I'm getting hungry now!
Isn't this Friday April Fools Day? Could you make a kitty litter cakeor something along those lines that would be fun?
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
Hi, at our elementary school we have a First Friday where we set up treats for the teachers to enjoy during their breaks...in the past, we have had soups, desserts, etc.....any ideas for April? Thanks, Melissa
