We got a new Super 2 years ago. The Board of Ed did everything and the PTO was not involved at all. I do not really think it is the PTO's place, since technically you are a seperate organization from the school.
However, I see nothing wrong with you offering your services to the Board if there is anyway you can assist them.
our school district will be in need of a new superintendent this year. our pto has an interest in holding a forum of some sort for the board of education to meet the applicants in order to make an informed decision on the hiring. has any other pto had any dealings with new superintendent hiring? are we overstepping?
