Teacher/principal involvement

Currently our bylaws do not include any info regarding the teachers or administration and that is the problem. It is left open for interpretaion and we need to have guidelines for them. We do not want them to be able to vote on budget issues or even issues pertaining to the bylaws. Thanks for any help you can send my way.

Our by-laws don't even have them included (unless they are filling the position of an officer or committee chair). We have 2 special committees (Administration and Teacher Representative) that are created year to year by the prez, but special committees do not get a vote on anything, just input. Only officers and committee chairs get to vote, unless it's a membership vote that is.

What do your bylaws currently say regarding their places on the board? Can they vote in Board meetings?

Let us know where they stand now, and we can look at how to change that, but, if they do have votes, good luck. :(

Our group is having problems with teacher/principals on our executive board. Does anyone have bylaws that describe their purpose or limits on the exec board. They are attempting to control things and we would like to update our bylaws to limit their ability to do so. Thank you for any help you can send my way.
