We'd actually planned the event for June, since there isn't much planned then. Like I said--we understand the busy aspect, but this is a once in a decade kind of thing, and she HAS known about it for several months now.
I
am tempted to run it on a Saturday, but our fundraising chair is dead-set against the idea
. I feel as nonsequitur does, and if we market it right, we could get a good attendence. The main problem with that is the baseball, softball, soccer, name your sport scheduling. Not only are the grounds in use then, but also the time factor for the majority of the kids.
Any ideas for a good money maker? That
doesn't take place during school hours
? We have a "Tricky Tray (Chinese Auction) planned for November, but does anyone else have any ideas?
