I too had many problems with Lifetouch, so I contacted School Annual. They have a website and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience. The people are great to work with and very helpful, the online program for generating the yearbook is much easier to navigate and you have more creative control and our books look fantastic.

I've used yearbook alive , a digital yearbook company, in the past and have had no issues. The software is pretty easy to use and looks really cool.

Our school is using a new program from Herff Jones. All color, super easy software-my kids LOVE it! I never thought I was going to be able to use the computer to figure it all out but it is so easy. I really like that my rep is local. We used another company last year who we had to call an 800 number for help. We only order 100 book with 60 pages all color for about $18.00. That's not bad for our small school! :)

We did our first digital yearbook. The company we used was Walsworth Yearbooks. We have a great rep who is easy to reach and was very helpful.

many high schools in my area are using Herff Jones.

just as I was tooting Taylor Publishing's horn....we've had problems with their website going offline, not so great when you're trying to meet deadlines!

We have used Lifetouch for the last several years. Our committee has used the cut & paste method of putting the book together.....mega hours and huge cost!! Haven't had any huge issues with Lifetouch but I know that the kickback from using them for pictures is a plus. Would love to go to digital/online preparation of the book. Does anyone have experience with Herff Jones?? Our Middle school uses them and have really liked the product. They apparently have an online method of compiling the book that looks pretty user friendly. We don't have many volunteers who want to jump in to this!! Trying to find a way that is easy to learn.
Any suggestions....I've rambled a bit!!
Thanks,
Beth
