If everything is in the by-laws, how much purpose would the new business part of the meeting have and why vote on anything?
If he is making reference to your PTO by-laws,request copies. They are a matter of public record and he is obligated to produce them for you. Correct me if I am wrong.
Need to know where I can find bylaws for PTO or if there is any can someone please help me. I have been a member of PTO for 8 years. I have never seen any bylaws or heard of any bylaws until our new principal came and he doesn't have any bylaws he just keep saying it in the bylaws. anyone asked a simple question or says anything about the school the principal takes over the meeting he said PTO is not for info about the school only for fund raising but he won't allow us to spend any money unless he sayes it ok. for example the coaches of the biddy basketball teams K-6 grade ask PTO to buy trophes he said no it wasn't in the bylaws. but when he wanted to buy cheerleading uniforms for only 12 girls 7-8 for them to keep. he asked for the money and he got it.so we need bylaws or any info about bylaws.
