Hate to be a bother but can you send me that information on yearbooks too. We discussed starting one this year and I would love to have some basic information to present at our next meeting. Thanks!!
Our yearbook was definitely not done for fundraising. In fact, we priced it so that we wouldn't make any money but break even. It was more of a service than anything else. That being said, we did make about $400 after all was said and done which was used to help purchase a computer for PTO use. I don't think our school would have had an issue either way. That never came up for us!
In our school district yearbooks can not be used as a fund raiser. The funds and pricing are strictly regulated. However, if you do something a little different, like a Memory Book, it may be looked at differently.
Yearbookmom, could you email me that information to. We have one yearbook for all 3 schools, elementary, middle and high. I would love to do one just for the elementary school. Please any ideas how to get started. Thanks in advance.

I emailed you, Capkanga. I have tons of information to share. In fact, I spoke with a friend from back home and she's looking into getting a yearbook started for her group! It is a great worthwhile project and you won't be sorry to get one going!
