Wow, it's great to see that the idea sharing is catching on. Keep the ideas coming and for those of you that have requested the 100+ Easy and Inexpensive Gifts Ideas - be sure to copy the new ones from the board and paste them into your own word processor for additions! The more the better for future ideas.
Also remember - the ideas on the idea sheet are just one variation - all you have to do is take the idea, the special event you want to give a gift for and put a new spin on an old gift idea - then viola - you have a new gift idea!
example: Thanksgiving is coming us and with all the pay cuts across the country - the least we can do is let the teachers know that we are thankful for them and all they do each and every day - so with Thansgiving as the event (maybe instead of giving them something for Christmas or Winter holdiay time period) - you could take idea
105. Tea bags in a mug (some apple flavored): Thanks for putting the “Tea†in ...(PTA or PTO)...!
Now we all know that teachers have way too many mugs so instead of putting it in a mug, you could just put the tea bags together, wrap in tissue or colored cellephane - and tie with raffie and a cute note with a little cornicopia clipart on the card and the message from above (find someone that has a computer to help make a card out of cardstock with the clipart and the wording etc.)
Just thanking the teachers - will put a smile in their heart and make their day a better day!
