Our current PTO President is completely out of control. She is very offense to just about everyone (other board members, school staff and parents), doesn't participate in any function (other than to call a meeting) and doesn't contribute to the success of our board in any way. At this point we have already had 4 of 8 board members resign their posts directly related to her behavior. I am concerned that there will be more. Our by-laws have no provision for removal of an officer and Roberts Rules is very difficult to interpret on this issue. Has anyone had a similar situation, and if so, what was the resolution?
PLEASE HELP! I'm afraid that the remaining board members will resign and it's ultimately the schools and children that suffer the consequences!
