Most PTO Websites these days have a copy of their by-laws on their website - access to all. Based on that I would have to believe you can fire up that copier as often as you want.
Sounds like some control issues are in play.

Hi there. Our PTO has only 1 copy of the bylaws, which the treasurer has. My question is...Can we make additional copies???? Especially for myself..the President. Or it this illegal? I really would like to 1) Read them over...since I am new and so is the rest of the board. 2)I am compiling a PTO Binder for future PTO boards, since we were handed nothing. It would be nice to include this in here. and 3) Be able to sound like I know what I am talking about at meetings and not have the treasurer interupt saying it is not in the bylaws etc. I would like to be correct and knowledgeable. I have asked the treasurer and she has responded that Roberts Rules will not allow a copy of the Bylaws to be made. This does not make sense to me....but I want to make sure I am not crazy.
Thanks
Deb
