Audit committee-appointed by president 30 days before end of fiscal year;
members are not incoming or outgoing signers on any of the the accts to be audited.
Must report findings to the general membership at first general meeting of the fiscal year;
Membership must adopt (agree to) report.

At my last school, our PTO's bylaws did not have audit information or requirements. However, because we were a service branch of the school we followed their guidelines and submitted our books for review along with theirs in July every year.

Does anyone have written in their bylaws anything about an auditing committee? How is it formed, by whom...thanks.
