You mentioned that the School Board is also involved in this matter. I am sorry to hear about that. I have seen several PTOs totally abolished when the School Board gets involved. Dealing with teachers, counselors, etc...they have enough on their hands. The last thing they want is to deal with arguing adults.
To what extent is the School Board involved at this point? I'd be very careful with this if I were you. It complicates things drastically.

Several steps have to be taken before you can ever dismiss a member (officer or not) from a PTO. I am not familiar with your bi-laws, but I am very familiar with Robert's Rules.
1 - Members in questioned must be notified of intent to be dismissed.
2 - Such members must be given an opportunity to defend themselves & provide their own representation.
3 - No less than 30 days MUST be given prior to ANY vote. If you conduct a "surprise" vote, it is in fact a lynching to the members. Besides being totally unethical, it would also be illegal. Also, such a vote is null and void. Also, this would mean that YOU as an officer (and any officers that support you) would be eligible for automatic removal from office.
4 - Unfortunately, a PTO (like any group of people) can become too much of a "clique". You must keep in mind that PTO is a serious business with the main goal that of the students. If you simply don't like someone, you cannot "get rid of them" by simply voting them out. So, before you do ANYTHING investigate the situation in its entirety.
What have these individuals said when you spoke to them regarding the matters in questions? I am assuming you DID speak with them. It's a shame that some mutual decision can't be reached.
I am eager to hear the outcome of your situation. Please post again!
I just added a topic today which would be similar to this-please read. In our particular By-Laws that our three officer's wanted to dismiss the secretary & mom they did it illegally and are now subject to a Legal Libel Law Suit that the moms have contacted two attorneys. Once local and one out of town. If your By-Laws do not specifically state that this can be done then you refer back to Robert's Rules section #72 & #75 which our three officer's did not do. They claim what they were doing was valid (without) legal documentation to back up with they did. The attorney I spoke to today is laughing at how stupid people can be not knowing any type of legal consequences. This is a hairy topic with a battle between the powers that be. Eventually, the outcome will be a legal law suit and the dismissal of the PTO as it's entirity. People do not think of the legal consequences unless you deal with these problems on a daily work place environment.
HI I NEED SOME ADVICE WE ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH TWO INDIVIDUALS IN OUR PTO THEY HAVE BROKEN TWO OF OUR BYLAWS SO WE WOULD LIKE TO VOTE FOR THERE DISMISAL, OUR PROBLEM IS WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING IN OUR BYLAWS TO INDICATE HOW TO DO THIS. THEY CLEARLY BROKE THE BYLAWS BUT WE ARE STUMPED ON OUR NEXT MOVE. THE SCHOOL BOARD IS NOW ALSO INVOLVED SO ANY INFO YOU CAN GIVE ME IS GREATLT APPRECIATED.
