Yeah, I don;t see anything technically wrong with your group supporting DARE financially, if that's what you choose to do.

Our PTO has paid for this. We have used state troopers when there was no county officers trained to do this. For the most part we had matched SBDM for the fee, but it seems like the last year I was in office we paid the whole thing. It is a great program.
We are wanting to start the DARE program up in our school but our county has no DARE officer. The PTO would be willing to pay for the training of this officer. Can we legally use the money for this. It would benifit our students but the question has been asked and I do not know the answer.
