co-presidents, do you have a VP?

Okay great things are happening with PALS! we are getting a new principal this summer, It had been recommended that I stay on as pres. since I am the only pres. That the group has ever had.
Well I decided that if I could mentor a couple of people that next year when I step down this would be great to have them trained. What I recommended was co-presidents, well it went over really good.
I hvae two moms who are willing to be co-presidents with me training them for a year. We do however have to ammend bylaws, now this may sound dumb but if you have co-presidents do you have a vice president? If so how does it work? I have to post in our school newsletter that we will be voting on bylaw changes and need to know how most groups do it. We will probably just appointing these parents unless any one else jumps in, then we will have to do elections. We were thinking that the three of us be called co-presidents until January next year when I step down. does that seem right??Help!!!
