Where do I put this on the agenda?

The requests for funds is new business. If the speaker is doing something unrelated to your group I would just add him as a guest speaker so he can promote his business.

You can tell I'm so new at this; I don't know what I'm doing!!

OK--under one section of my agenda I have committee reports and the people who are committee chairman speaking on things like Book Fair, Grandparents' Day, etc.

Here's my questions:
1) I need the chairman of the Annual Fund to talk-this doesn't fall in under the umbrella of a Parents' Club chairman but nonetheless he's promoting his "event". Does it go under "Reports" or under "New Business"

2) The Headmaster is making a funding request. Does this go under "New Business"?

Thanks so much. I've been reading Robert's Rules all afternoon and my head is swimming.
