Can PTO by-laws consist of whatever you want them to consist of??? Can you put in and take out what you want? For example: If we didn't want to make members pay dues or fees, can we leave that out and just say that all parents are members? Can we take a sample of another PTO's by-laws and just make it our own?
I am the new PTO president of my children's school and we have no organization whatsoever! The principal and vice principal runs the board meetings and pretty much dictates what goes on and when!
