By-laws and Principal

We have the same problem our pricipal likes this to go her way only even when she is out voted. I have never seen our bylaws so I'm not sure how it goes but I hate the fact that she thinks she can rule. We are a Parents' Group so to be with out the parents she would get NOTHING. She should be happy about what we do for her and the school it's all for the better of the children. We wouldn't want to do something that would hurt the school our children are there and we wants what's best for them too. Check in to your bylaws and then if it doesn't say ask to have them changed to state what you feel would work out best. I have seen in some places where pricipal only votes in a tie and I have also seen it where they don't get a vote at all. Find what works best for your group and see about changing or adding to your bylaws.

Only if your by-laws say they do.

By-laws and Principal was created by Taft School
Does the principal have the final say/authority as to what goes in(modify) the by-laws, when it was passed by the majority, including the principal's vote, more than 2/3 votes?
