We usually discuss the issue. As president I ask if there are any other comments/questions. If not I ask for a motion. If I get a motion I ask for a second. (These both must come from officers). AFter I get a second I ask all those in favor say "I". All opposed say "nay". (These can come from all members of the PTO). If they are all "I" I say motion passed or if "nay" motion denied.
please help. We have a pto meeting tomorrow night, and I need help with the order of meeting once we call for a vote. I know that usually there is a discussion but I am not exactly sure of the wording for the vote. If someone would please help me. At one time I thought I had found the answer on here but now I can't seem to find it. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
