When we formed our Partnership, we had a committee that set up the Bylaws. Ours are reviewed every other year. Changes are always made. What I would suggest is that you form a bylaw committee and have the samples of existing ones and take what you like and add to your own Bylaws. Our Vice President is in charge of the Bylaw Review committee and this usually happens in the spring. Good luck

Hello, everyone! Awhile back, I was here asking for support on how to handle a president with no leadership skills, plus a few other problems within our PTO... I am pleased to announce that the problem people in our PTO have resigned, and we are getting ready to vote in a great group of people. However, as I've been saying all along, our By-Laws suck! (I never got an answer when I asked where they got them from!) Finally, I have the support of the 'new' PTO to throw out the old ones and have a whole new set of By-Laws voted in (FYI: our other By-Laws were never even formally voted in!...but don't get me started!) What I am asking from you all is, if your PTO has a set of By-Laws that seem to work for you, would you please email them to me so that I can collect the best of the best, and prepare a new set of By-Laws for our PTO...??? Thank you all so very much! This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
