Audit of Books

Not that I plan to suggest that our district implement more guidelines to restrict us - but I would appreciate receiving your form for audits so that we can consider it internally as a PTO. Our district has guidelines only for fundraising (and in my opinion, the less "big brother" the better). Thanks for your help! ;)

I cannot send the info without your email. If not post a fax and I'll be more than happy to share.
It's a great guideline.

Hi 2kiddos
I was wondering if you could tell me what
state and district you are in. You mention
that your district has forms and guidelines
for doing an audit I really could use some
help on this. Our district wants to see things
now but has nothing to give us.
Thanks for the help

Check with your school district see if they have put out any guidelines. Our district has a form and guidelines.

Our bylaws require that a committee of not less than 3 people audit the financial books at the end of each year. In the past, this has not been done. As this year's tresurer, I would like to make sure this gets done. What is the procedure for auditing the books? I have our accounts on Quicken.
