I don't think that anything specifically says what a PTO can spend money on, however PTA's have some guidelines. I know in our state (TX), PTA's do not want you to spend money on copiers. Those are a responsibility of the school district.

I was wondering if any one could help on info as to what the money raised by the pto can be used for? The teachers are always wanting money to pay off copiers, etc.. How or what by-laws say yes or no on this subject. thakyou chuck
