OH THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! THIS REALLY HELPS! Thie book is sohard to follow and I'm tired of being the only one in our group that knows parlimanary procedures!- I honestly read it during my last hospital stay with baby #4! Anyway THANK YOU!

While this board is great for finding out what other organizations do in certain instances, I find that when I have questions needing an answer by a Parliamentary Authority, it is helpful to go to the Robert's Rules Q&A Boards. You can ask your questions, and then get an answer back. Many of the answers come from Parliamentarians, others from people with lots of experience working within Robert's Rules.
It is helpful if you can give the phrases from your bylaws that pertain to your question.
Many times too, I find that by reading some of the other posts, I find the answers are already there.
