We have a large K-12 school with 45 teachers. Our principal initiated a request form for teachers to fill out that has to go through her office first. What we found was that teachers were asking for things that were already in the school budget. If there are requests for things not covered that way she forwards the request to us. The form is very basic, showing the teachers name, the request and what it will be used for, and the amount of money. When we have numerous requests for things, say at the end of the year, we form a team consisting of teachers, the principal and Home & School members to prioritize and decide who gets what.
