if you change your by-laws are you required to notify the IRS. I'm going by the assumption that your by-laws support a PTO's exemption.

When the new by-laws were voting into effect they over-ruled all other by-laws that had been in effect. When we in this country vote to change a law that is what we vote for, to change it. We do not vote to resind the old law and then put into effect the new law.

We ran into a problem at our last P.T.O. meeting. We had people who wanted to run for a place on the board,which is great but the problem is with absentee voting our by-law have been update and the section on absentee voting was left out. One of the nominees states that since they were never vote out that they are still vaild even though they are not in the new by-laws. If any one has any ideas please help?
