Help! Our treasurer has been embezzling! I have just become president for our PTO and have discovered that our treasury books are off balance to a great degree. We have had special meetings of our board to discuss this. We have also asked our treasurer to resign - which she did but is very hostile about. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you handle it? To what degree should we include the school principles in this? We looking at about $20,000.00 over the last three years.
