It's common for bylaws to specify one-year terms and have language about consecutive terms. The idea is to avoid having people stay in board positions for a stretch of several years.
Hello, within our bylaws it states someone can only fill a position for two consecutive years. By year three they can still be a part of the board but they have to chose another position. Is this standard guidelines for most PTO's or is it uncommon?
