Santa booth - liability insurance?

11 years 11 months ago #162213 by Rose H
If you wanted to include a Santa next year, you should check to see what your insurance covers. Does your group have insurance? If not, consider looking into it, not just for Santa specifically, but for any big events you hold Here's some information about insurance you can get through our organization: www.ptotoday.com/insurance

Good luck!

Our foundation is sponsoring a very successful holiday craft fair in one week (over 70 quality hand made vendors - yeah!). We were just "cold-called" by a professional Santa who just moved into the area, who would do this for no charge.

My legal radar went on high alert.

Although he contacted us too late, we are out of space for a Santa booth.

Going forward, if we would consider having a santa booth, would there be some kind of liability insurance we would need?

The last minute contact is conjuring up icky thoughts in my head for some reason.

Thanks for your input and happy holidays to you all!
