So, it looks like you’ve had quite a busy year and now there are even more things to sort out. Don’t worry, there are several steps you can take. For starters, is your group able to handle the immediate workload with your remaining volunteers? If so, you can go forward because you do not officially need a president. Just make sure there is a decision-making process in place. It seems like a good place to focus is on building up your volunteer base. If you can bring in some new blood, you may find that some of those new folks could be interested in leadership positions once they have been volunteering for a while. You can get some several good tips in this article: www.ptotoday.com/pto-today-articles/arti...unteer-base-11-ideas
In the meantime, it looks like you have elections to think about on top of everything else. You might want to think about how you will approach the process of recruiting folks to run for office and hold elections. We have an entire section devoted to election and transition issues that could give you some good ideas. Check out www.ptotoday.com/elections-transition?position=footer

FYI - we are a tiny group! We maybe have 5 or 6 people show to monthly meetings. The Treasurer and I have been running all fundraisers, book fairs, Book on Wheels, flyers, bulletin boards, Agenda's etc. for the past 3 years.
We are lucky to have 2 people interested in becoming members at this point.
