I am the president and I have 3 others that sit on this board. A major (for us it is major) issue has come up and it needs to be voted on. I voted 1 way and the other 3 vote the opposite. Is it the majority rules or can I over ride there decision?

Parliamentary Procedures
Section 12.1 Procedures: The rules contained in “Robert’s Rules of Order, Revised” will govern this organization in all cases to which they are applicable and in which they are consistent with these Bylaws.
Section 6.2 Duties: The following will be the duties of each officer:

a. President. The President will preside at all meetings of the organization, and will be a member ex-officio of all committees. The President will serve on the Superintendent’s Advisory Council, and will perform all other duties pertaining to the office.
